Zwift Releases the 2019 UCI Road World Championships Route

The most popular indoor training application , Zwift, continues the tradition of releasing world championship routes. This year they did it again, welcoming the UCI Road World Championships 2019 in Yorkshire, England, September 22-29.

By updating the Zwift application, we can now see five route options around the final circuit of the world championship. Namely 2019 UCI Worlds Harrogate Circuit.

In the world championship later, all winners will be determined in the up and down circuit as far as 13.8 km. The Women Elite category will surround him three times, after starting the race from Bradford. While the Elite Men will surround it seven times, after starting from Leeds.

In order not to get bored, and to adjust to the user’s wishes, Zwift prepared five variations based on that route. Following is an explanation of each of these route options:

1. 2019 UCI WORLDS HARROGATE CIRCUIT

For those who want to experience the full route of the Harrogate Circuit, this is the main option. Each round is 13.8 km long, and we will feel the challenge of a circuit that is almost never flat. Always up or down. In one round, we climb a total of 122 meters. While trying it, we can imagine the world stars during the actual race later. Guess where our favorite or idol will attack and try to become champions!

2. DUCHY ESTATE

Duchy Estate is the shortest option, only 4.7 km. Also at least uphill, a total of only 35 meters. Zwift really knows that many bicycle hobbyists don’t like to climb. So, this option only uses the northern part of the Harrogate Circuit.

3. QUEEN’S HIGHWAY

Queen’s Highway actually uses the same section as Duchy Estate, but from a different direction (against the clock). The segment is made slightly longer, a total of 5.7 km, and the total uphill is not much different, only 41 meters. The difference is, there are sprint segments that are more challenging, because the road is more “tilted.”

4. ROYAL PUMP ROOM 8

This is the route for those who feel the Harrogate Circuit is less challenging. We will be invited to go through all parts of the circuit twice. Once against clockwise, then turn and turn it to follow the clock. The total distance became 27.5 km, and the total climb increased to 245 meters! Pain fan? Enjoy!

5. TOUR OF TEWIT WELL

Like the rather long and heaving routes, don’t like flat parts? Please select Tour of Tewit Well. This route uses the longest and heaving section of the Harrogate Circuit. Forget the flat part to the north. The total length is 10.7 km, with an elevation gain of 102 meters. (riding bicycle)
