For some reason or what, two Belgian WorldTour teams launched their 2020 uniforms on the same day. Lotto Soudal did it together with Deceuninck-QuickStep. In fact, Lotto Soudal called the launch day “Lucky Friday 13th” (Friday, December 13).
When Deceuninck-QuickStep gets whiter, the Lotto Soudal uniform gets blacker. The actual design has not changed much from previous years, but the boss is increasingly dominant black. Previously white or red.
The pattern is the same for both the men’s and women’s teams, Lotto Soudal Ladies. The difference is the placement of the main sponsor’s logo. On the men’s jersey, the Soudal logo is on the top. On women’s uniforms, the Lotto logo is above.
In terms of achievement, Lotto Soudal is not as spectacular as Deceuninck-QuickStep. Moreover, they will lose three main stars next year. Tiesj Benoot to the Sunweb Team, Victor Campenaerts to NTT, and Jens Keukeleira to EF Education First.
But, they will have more big names chasing victory in the arena of Classic and sprint. They brought Philippe Gilbert from Deceuninck-QuickStep, and John Degenkolb from Trek-Segafredo.
Just like the other Belgian teams, the Lotto Soudal uniform is made by the Belgian brand Vermarc.
What about the other WorldTour 2020 team jersey?
