#ThankYouJorge: With tears in your eyes, this is the wise word of parting Lorenzo, sad!

Maybe Lorenzo tried to smile, but a few moments … ? Either the writer is mistaken or Lorenzo is close to tears (tears in his eyes) while speaking in parting words of his resignation. All he had decided, now Lorenzo retired. He has given color in the world of racing that we love: MotoGP … Goodbye Jorge Good luck in other fields .. #ThankYouJorge

Following Jorge Lorenzo’s Complete Speech

“Thank you for attending this press conference, it means so much to me, it makes me so happy.
“I always think that there are four significant days for a racer.
The first is your first race, the second your first win and then your first world championship (not everyone can win the world championship but some of us succeeded) and then the day you retire.

“As you can imagine here, I am here to announce that this day has arrived for me.
This will be my last race in MotoGP and after this race I will retire as a professional racer.

“It all started when I was three years old, almost 30 years I fully dedicated to sports.
The people I work with know how perfectionist I am, how much energy and intensity I always put into my sport.

“This level of perfectionism requires a lot of motivation, which is why after nine years at Yamaha – so extraordinary, perhaps the best years of my career – I feel that I need a change, if I want to maintain this full commitment to my sport.
“That’s why I want to move to Ducati, it gives me a big motivational boost and even though the results are very bad, I use motivation to not give up and keep fighting until I achieve this beautiful Mugello victory in front of all Ducati Fans.
“Then, when I signed the contract with Honda, you gave me a big boost because I achieved something that all racers dream of, to become HRC racers for Repsol Honda.
“Unfortunately, injuries come quickly to play an important part in my results and performance, so I cannot be in normal physical condition to be fast or competitive.
“This plus a motor that doesn’t feel natural to me, gives me a lot of problems to be as competitive as I want.
However, I never lost my temper and continued to work with the team thinking it might just be a matter of time until everything came to the right place.

“Then when I started seeing light in the tunnel, a severe accident in the Montmelo test occurred.
And then a few days later I fell again in a severe accident of Assen, for which we know the consequences that were made.

“I must admit when I rolled on the pebbles and I stood up, I thought to myself ‘OK Jorge, is this really worth it?’
After what I have achieved, to continue to suffer … I’m done with it, I don’t want to race anymore.

“But then I returned home and decided to try it.
I did not want to make an earlier decision.
So I continued to advance.
But the truth from then on was that the hill had become so high and so big that I could not find the motivation, the patience to keep on trying to climb this mountain.

“You all know, I like motor racing, I like competition, I like this sport but above all I love to win.
So I realized at some point this was impossible, in this short amount of time with Honda.
So …
(applause from everyone present) at this stage of my career, it would be impossible for me to maintain my motivation and goals that I thought at the start of the season were unrealistic, in a short amount of time.

“So I must say I feel very sorry for Honda.
Especially Alberto, who gave me this opportunity.
I remember that day at the Montmelo test, one of the first meetings I had with him, to start chatting about my move to Honda.
And I said to him, “Alberto don’t make mistakes, sign the wrong racer!
Believe me and you will not regret it. “

“Unfortunately, I must say, I disappointed him.
I disappoint Honda.
Takeo (Yokoyama), (Tetsuhiro) Kuwata and Nomura-san (president of HRC).
But I think this is the best decision for me and for the team because Honda and Jorge Lorenzo can’t fight to only score a few points or even five or a podium, which I think may be with time, I think we are both winners who need to fight to win.

“So speaking a little more for happiness, returning to my beautiful and successful career, I always say that I am a very lucky man.
Sometimes I feel a little like the film ‘one in a billion’ which tells the life of an Indian basketball player in the NBA.

“Because I am racing against the extraordinary racers of my generation and anyone of them can achieve what I have achieved.
(But) they are not as successful as me.
And especially most of them didn’t even get to the world championship and chose to return to work at their normal jobs, so I always felt very grateful.

“It’s true I have always been a hard worker and made many sacrifices but without being in the right place at the right time and especially without the help of many people, who helped me achieve what I achieved, that would not be possible.
“That’s why I’m also here to thank everyone for their help, especially Carmelo and Dorna for all the good treatment they have always given me and especially for making this sport so great.
“Also all the manufacturers who believed in me and recruited me: Derbi, Aprilia, Yamaha, Ducati, Honda.
Especially Giampeiro Sacchi, Gigi Dall’Igna, Lin Jarvis and Alberto Puig.

An expression that looks so heavy for Lorenzo to decide something that he loved (MotoGP). And he must leave because of his condition.

What to Do After Retirement?

What do you do after retirement? Jorge said, “I always say that life does not only consist of motorbikes. There are many other things that must be done to live. We are now in MotoGP, the world that I know of, but billions of other people are all working on the challenges of their own lives. “

There are four important days for a racer: (1) First-Time Racing (2) First-Time Victory (3) First-Time World Champion (4) At Retirement … Lorenzo said.

Sympathy from the MotoGP racer

Casey Stoner : Great loss to the world of sports (MotoGP), the loss of a champion like Lorenzo. There is no other word than respecting this person, who is a tough competitor for most of my career.

Dani Pedrosa : I wish Jorge the best. It is an honor to be a championship rival like you.

Do you have any solutions to protect against hackers?
