The Detroit Pistons have appeared in three preseason matches in 2019. Derrick Rose, their new guard, is impressive. However, Head Coach Dwane Casey was apparently not interested in playing him as a starter.
The Coach is currently still using Reggie Jackson as the main starting line. While Rose always appears from the bench. He scored 10 points and 4 assists against the Orlando Magic. Scored 18 points and 5 assists against the Dallas Mavericks. Then, scored 15 points against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
With that appearance, Rose brings hope. Apparently he is still useful. Pistons can use it to strengthen the game. However, they also need to be careful. Rose is vulnerable to injury.
Even so, the Pistons were not worried. They see what’s in front of their eyes. In fact Rose is in good health. He was even impressive during this summer.
Last season, the 31-year-old guard also impressed people. In the midst of worries about his body being vulnerable to injury, Rose actually proved its quality. He appeared with the Minnesota Timberwolves in 51 matches with an average of 18 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists.
The overall percentage of shots (FG%) reaches 48.2 percent. Overall shot effectiveness (eFG%) 51.8 percent. While true shooting percentage (TS%) 55.7 percent.
Now, Rose is ready to welcome a new day with the Pistons. He joined the team this summer. Rose hopes to be able to prove his quality as a player again. (put)
